After so many years, and how disappointing EA's Boringfront was, the real Star Wars Battlefront III that was promised to us years ago has finally leaked online: The build is old and designed for Xbox 360 devkits, so unless you have a 360 devkit, or a modded Xbox you won't be able to play it. They tried using emulators, but the build would not work with it. But it has a lot of content in the build, including an alledged campaign and galactic conquest mode, as well as about six maps. Actually the build is playable, and suprisingly close to fully built. Theoretically using the XNA kit I SHOULD be able to port it over as an actual executable recognized by windows. From there, using resources included within the engine I and other again SHOULD be able to start actually molding whatever is there into a more or less complete game. And yes, there's Ground to Space battles. And now i need to find an RGH Xbox 360, I am saving the file until then, hopefully people hear his cry and help finish development of the few assets we have access too. That or pray the pc prototype gets released.
Electronic Arts is removing a swarm of online videos revealing key gameplay details of its biggest game of the year,. On Thursday, a select number of fans were invited to try an alpha build of DICE's major Star Wars shooter, and were asked in the end-user agreement to not publish videos of the game online. However, scores of players have ignored this proviso, and have published footage revealing in-game single-player and multiplayer.
