For a test I added the unsupported app store bundle, and then the apps menu appeared but still no library updater in it. Never mind I didn't read far enough back and didn't know this had been moved to Video Channels. Is there a way to manually change the preferences for the library updater? Long story short: I must had made a mistake when entering the IP address or port in the preferences in the client the first time. Now it gives a message to that effect and suggests changing the settings, but I don't see how or where to change them now (either in Mac, PC or Web/Plex clients). At least with your script I can now trigger updates from the couch rather than having to fire up a web browser every time I add new videos. I know nothing about PMS plugins whatsoever so this may be completely impossible, but is there any way the script could be modified to be triggered while browsing content?
